Hyperopia

The hyperopic eye is an eye slightly too short, the image is formed behind the retina. The hyperopic eye sees blurred near. The surgical technique allows a treatment of hyperopia up to 5 diopters.

Laser surgery for hyperopia consists of curving the cornea. The surgical technique for hyperopia is the Femtosecond Lasik and in some cases the Transepithelial Refractive Photokeratectomy (TransPRK).

The surgical technique will be discussed with your surgeon and according to the structure of your cornea during the pre-operative test.
